In June 2015 a visit was made to the Western Approaches Museum under
Derby House Liverpool. The bunker, with
over 100 rooms covering an area of 50,000 square feet, is protected by a
7-foot thick roof and 3-foot thick walls which were believed to make it bomb and
gas proof.
Afterwards dinner was had at the Railway Inn, Tithbarn
Street. |
