Tony Jacobs says that the Rowecrofts, and Kenneth Roberts were all good boxers, and went to boxer training. They all lived in the Wirral. 

Boxing was a sport at Marlborough College at the time, and on Tony's first occasion in the ring his opponent was Eric Rowecroft.

Tony didn't know the rules, particularly that you are supposed to touch gloves and step back a pace, so he hit Rowecroft on the chin!

He didn't win the bout.

Tony can't remember the name of the cat, which was a favourite of Larter's. It went missing and he offered five pounds reward.

Unfortunately the cat was found dead in the large drain that was outside  the third form.
